Universidad Autonoma De Nuevo Leon Boot

One of over a few dozen large-sized Boots that also wear state college colors. Standing at approximately 5 and a half feet tall and crafted from aluminum, these sculptures are part of an initiative to brand, beautify, promote higher education, and draw foot traffic to the city of Mercedes. ACDC Signs, based in the city of Weslaco, is responsible for these works of art. These boots have drawn national attention, including from Rice University, who have shared photos of their sculptures on social media.
