St Francis at Prayer

St Francis is depicted in traditional Franciscan garb with a rosary. The dove on his shoulder represents his close connection with both nature as God's creation and the Holy Spirit. Wear on this statue is eerily reminiscent of the stigmata that afflicted Francis late in his life.
