Spiralling Stream

This sculpture was designed by Rob Woods as part of the Sustrans nation cycle way project with Tim Norris. In 2004 they commissioned Tim to work with art students of Rycotewood College to design a series of resting places and sculptures which reflect and compliment aspects of the passing landscape and local history along National Route 544. Entitled “Spiralling Stream” this was Inspired by the constant steam formation flowing in a twisted fashion from Didcot Power Station, the most prominent and dominating landmark in the area.
