Community Park Bandstand
Jacksonville, United States
One of only two bandstands built (1878-1879) on the grounds of the former Jacksonville State Hospital. The bandstand provided each group of dormitories with a location in which the hospital band and orchestra could provide concerts for the entertainment to all patients. This main bandstand was restored by the Jacksonville Rotary Club in 1987-88 and was re-dedicated to the memory of Floyd E. Cox
