The Log Cabin

This structure was originally built in the mid- 1920's by the Dawes family as a summer retreat. It was constructed by hand-hewn logs and beams taken from an early 1800s barn and surrounding buildings located where the Zander Education Center is today. The cabin was renovated and modified in 1994 to become the site for processing sap into maple syrup.
