Helsingin Pitäjän Kirkonkylän Mylly

The old water-powered mill in it's current form was built in 1898 and is part of the registered Heritage town owned by the Museum Authority. The history of the mill itself and the damn over the rapids date back to the 16th century when the area was inhabited and formed a central part of southern Finland's power structure. Summertime events are still held at the old mill, and it is part of heritage tours of the area.
