Schlather Park Sign

This addition to the City Park System was dedicated and opened for public use in the Summer of 2012. The land for the park was donated by Fritz and Sandy Schlather, who are members of one of the community's earliest families. The Cibolo City Council approved naming the new park in honor of Ernst and Elaine Schlather, the parents of Fritz Schlather. Schlather Park combines environmental, recreational and physical fitness amenities in one area. The project includes numerous picnic areas, a pavilion, playground features, walking paths, nature observation points, and an 18 hole Frisbee golf course.
