Christ Church Cemetary

One of the oldest cemeteries in Monmouth county, used by Presbyterian and Episcopalian. Was a church from 1730 to 1808. General Sir Henry Clinton, commander in chief, camped here June 24th and 25th 1778. Here he decided to head to Sandy Hook, encountering General George Washington at Freehold. Dedicated by Allentown historical society 1971.
