Spokane Lawn Bowling Club

Spokane, United States

Spokane Public Bath This building was formerly known as the "star attraction of 1914" in its original construction as Spokane's first public bathhouse. In 1960, the Witter Pool was constructed as a modern day replacement for the aging bathhouse and subsequently replaced its use. Thus the park's main attraction was converted into a storage shed until 1981 when the Spokane Lawn Bowling club leased the space. Founded in 1913, the Spokane Lawn Bowling club primarily operated in Manito park until it became much more economically feasible to operate out of Mission park.
