Juniper

Plaque describing the growth and uses of the Utah Juniper plant. Juniper and Pinon Trees grow together in southwest Colorado and can form large and very dense forests as a result. Junipers have also provided wood for fires, food from the berries, and various parts of the plant have been used by the Hopi Indians for medicinal means.
