2nd Gate At Sinhagad

Sinhagad is hill fort or 'Gad' located a few kilometres from the historical city of Pune. This fort is particularly famous for the bravery of a General named Tanaji Malusare, who fell in the battle to capture the fort. To commemorate his bravery his king Shivaji Bhosale aka 'the Great Maratha' renamed this to it a current name.
