Seond Empire Victorian style courthouse erected in 1897 on land donated by early setlers. Built of limestone and red sandstone cut at quarry and hauled on horse drawn wagons. Entrance columns are of Roman Corinthian style, over East entrance is builders mark of owl. Statues on roof represent "justice".
