NEUTRAL
Bonneville Point
Boise, United States
From the old Indian trail later known as the Old Oregon Trail, Captain B,L,E Bonnevilles partner on first sighting the river, May 1833 exclaimed "Les Bois Voyes Les Boise!" Meaning: Woods! The Woods! See the woods!. Captain Bonneville therefore named the stream Riviere Boise- and in so doing, indirectly named the mountains and the city that would follow.
