Thatcher Island North Light

Thatcher Island North Light is the northern of the Twin Lights on Thatcher Island off the east coast of Cape Anne. This light was constructed in 1861 along with Cape Anne Light just to its south. The original light station was built in 1771. This tower was discontinued by the coast guard in 1932 and privately re-lit in 1989.
