Systurnar Sjö

By Gulli Bjarnason The statues are made of metal and are meant to rust and disappear eventually. They are said to take after 7 birch trees that grew in Þórsmörk but they could also have a deeper meaning. It so happens that Gulli has seven sisters and that each statue represents each of them and their personalities. Some small and quiet while others are big and loud. Gulli has never confirmed that but he hasn't denied it either.
