In honor of Wilber J. Garmhausen Chief Landscape Architect, Ohio Dept. Of Highways 1949-1972, Division Landscape Architect 1935-1949. Developer of Ohio Rest Areas, Speaker, Author, Coordinator of Ohio Short Course on Roadside Development for 31 years. Chairman of Roadside Development Comm., National Highway Research Board. Recognized by President L.B. Johnson for his national role in roadside development. We salute Garmy, born in Lock Two, Ohio, for his leadership in making travel safer and more enjoyable.
