This is the Piketberg Dutch reformed church, on which work started in 1880. The church is a heritage site, the start of the Piketberg Historical route. It was designed by Carl Otto Hager, who designed 11 churches in the Cape Colony in that era. The church is built from sandstone mined in the area.
