North Pipe, Boarstall Duck Decoy

The northernmost pipe trap at the Boarstall Duck Decoy. There are 4 pipes around the pond allowing the decoyman to choose a trap that is upwind from the ducks. A dog trained to ignore the ducks starts at the large entrance to the pipe and gradually moves toward the narrow end. The ducks follow the dog until the decoyman is able to enter the mouth of the pipe and prevent the ducks escaping.
