Farming Community

Photos and memories of area family butchers, dairy, potato corn and hay as well as tools and technology they used. This is one of many signs found along the walking path that surrounds Hamilton Crossings. The Lower Macungie Township Historical Society, with help from the developers, posted a series of educational signs showing what life was like before commercial development and residential sprawl.
