First People

This sign has stories of the Lenni-Lenape, the Minsi Tribe, the Delaware Indians and Maughaughsin (who made a treaty with William Penn). It is found along the walking path that surrounds Hamilton Crossings. The Lower Macungie Township Historical Society with help from the developers posted a series of educational signs showing what life was like before commercial development and residential sprawl.
