NEUTRAL
Little-Terry Cemetery, Circa 1840
Forsyth County, United States
Established circa 1840, then neglected, the Little-Terry Cemetery (aka Kemp Rd Cemetery) was listed as an Endangered Georgia Cemetery (#346) in 2004, documented on FindaGrave (#34819) in 2008, and in 2010 was restored by Boy Scouts of America Troop 3143. Around 80 members of the Little, Terry, Strickland, and Wells families are laid to rest here, including Nathaniel McGinnis (1825-1899), of McGinnis Ferry fame. This wooded one-acre lot, just off McGINNIS FERRY RD, is surrounded by quiet pasture. The area now belongs to Forsyth County, as Watershed Protection for the Chattahoochee River (which now has a bridge; you won’t need a ferry).
