Caswell Water Station

The water pumping station and water tank was built in the 1890's to take advantage of a limestone spring. It replaced a windmill pump on the cliffs and concrete water tank who's remains still rest on the far side of the bay. The new pump was no longer required by the end of world war 1 and for a short time it was converted into a cafe.
