Beside the bike path sits the Perter Warshal commemorative bench. A favorite spot for bird watchers, this comfortable bench is carved from a single large log and nested under a live oak for shade. Peter was an important community leader who helped transform this area with the town's wastewater into the protected wildlife habitat it is today.
